St. George Youth Association
It is one of the backbone of the church.It is the energetic and spirited youth that ensurers the growth of any society.It is indeed true in our church as well.A team of dedicated and enthusiastic youth acts as pivotal force in all activities,in a spirit of helpfulness and collegian to the church management committee.Spiritual activities of the youth association revolve around its defined purpose of worship,service,education,evangalisation(especially in lent season)and protection of the faith.The association encourages studious students by donating study materials and other educational assistance to the less privileged irrespective of caste or creed.It also takes the lead in visiting sick and old-age people in homes and hospitals,financially assisting the needy and praying for them.It organize medical camp yearly one time.Youth members visit orphanages and re-habitation centers for the mentally handicapped and make contributions in cash and food.On 20 September 2009,the youth association was published a hand written magazine”Georgian”for the talent in the children of our church.It is one of the best unit of youth association in the Diocese of Angamaly.You can en-quire or make good suggestions with the youth secretary.Your kindly contributions are welcome and make sure they are addressed to “St George Youth Association, Manjapra”.
